Data we collect

Contact forms may collect your name, email address, career stage, consultation interest, and message content. During an engagement we may process CVs, publication lists, and related application documents you voluntarily provide. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, and timestamps.

Purposes and legal bases

We process enquiry data to respond to your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where steps are taken prior to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in responding). Engagement documents are processed to perform the consulting contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Essential cookies run on the basis of legitimate interest in operating a secure site; optional analytics cookies run only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). See our cookies page.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are typically deleted within 12 months. Client engagement files are retained for up to 6 years after the last invoice for accounting and dispute purposes, unless a longer statutory period applies. Cookie consent choices remain in localStorage until you clear them.

Recipients and international transfers

Hosting and email providers may process data as processors under contract. If a provider stores data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a German supervisory authority.
