Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to paid consultations with Networkingsystems for academic career advisory, appointment coaching, document reviews, planning sessions, and dual-career guidance in Germany.

Eligibility

Refunds are available when we cancel an engagement we cannot deliver, or when you cancel within the timeframes below before work begins. Once document review or session preparation has started, refunds may be partial.

Timeframes

For multi-session engagements, you may cancel for a full refund up to 7 days after payment if no session has occurred and no documents have been reviewed. Session-based bookings may be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled start.

Partial refunds

If you cancel after preparation has begun—for example after we have annotated a CV or drafted a transition outline—we retain a fee proportional to work completed, typically 30–60% of the engagement fee, and refund the remainder.

Non-refundable items

Completed one-off document reviews are non-refundable once written feedback has been delivered. No-shows without 24 hours’ notice forfeit that session fee. Deposits that secured rush appointment-procedure coaching inside two weeks are non-refundable after preparation starts.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a session once without charge if you give at least 24 hours’ notice. Further reschedules may be declined or billed as an additional session if calendar constraints require it.

Work already started

Materials already prepared for you (annotated files, written plans, rehearsal notes) remain yours after a partial refund; we do not reclaim delivered feedback.

Process and timing

Email info@networkingsystems.digital with your invoice reference and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days.

Cancellations by us

If illness or other cause prevents us from delivering, we offer a reschedule or a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.
